If you then try to close the app (even after using the “Download As” option), you’ll get an ‘unsaved data’ warning, which offers to save… that is, save online, which will fail because you didn’t sign in, but the error will say ‘check your internet connection’. I guess nobody changes their mind, because once you say you’re not signing in, that's it. But then if you change you mind and decide to sign in, the sign in button or menu option does… nothing.
